The Basement takes your privacy seriously. This site does not currently operate account-based registration or a built-in checkout, and therefore collects minimal personal data.

We may collect the following when you interact with us:

• Age verification status (stored locally in your browser | never sent to our servers)
• Contact information you voluntarily provide via Instagram DM
• Order information if you purchase through a linked payment provider

How We Use It

Any information collected is used solely to fulfil orders, respond to enquiries, and improve the service we provide. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties.

Third-Party Services

This site uses Google Fonts to load typography. When the page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to download the fonts. Google may collect anonymised data from these requests. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

If a payment processor is added in future (e.g. Stripe), their privacy policy will apply to all payment-related data. We will update this policy accordingly.

Links to Instagram (@_the_bsmnt) are provided for your convenience. Instagram's own privacy policy governs your interaction with that platform.

This site stores a single item in your browser's localStorage to remember that you have confirmed your age (key: tb_age_verified). This data:

• Is stored only on your device
• Is never transmitted to any server
• Contains no personally identifiable information
• Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics software.
